Hiking—in all Directions
Hiking from Preda in all directions never gets boring. For families with children, a trip to Lake Palpuogna or the railway nature trail to Bergün—followed by a dip at the pool—are popular destinations. Those who enjoy longer hikes can walk past Lake Palpuogna to the Crap Alv Lakes (where swimming is allowed) and on to Spinas, into Val Mulix to Lai Negr, or into the wild and romantic Val Tschitta. If you’re up for a bit of ridge climbing, Piz Üertsch is the perfect choice!
Bike Trails with a shuttle
A beautiful Albulatrail, suitable for beginners, starts at the Albula Pass and winds its way down to La Punt. From there, you can pedal back up the many curves, or treat yourself to the shuttle bus and get off at the hospice to enjoy the second part of the ride all the way to Preda.
A lovely place to linger
By the Albula River, which winds its way through the valley right below the house, you can lose track of time. It’s perfect for cooling off after a hike or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. With the kids, you can spend the whole day building, exploring, and discovering.
